Description
This is a bespoke made to order AirRide air suspension conversion kit, which is a direct replacement front strut for your van or motorhome. This product is a direct replacement which means anyone competent to change your original suspension is competent to install this. Based on several decades specialising in air suspension systems we know that this is the very best quality air conversion kits on the market. The Transporter T5 version of this product has been in continuous production since 2004 (before many other air suspension specialists had even left school!!!)

- Improves stability and reduces roll and improve handling.
- Full control of your front suspension.
- Can help re-rating for heavier capacity on some vehicles.
- Correct upper thrust bearing assembly for correct steering function.
- Built using the correct dimension dampers and NOT undersize car ones. All our van struts use 25mm or on some heavy models 28mm piston rods. Car shocks use 18mm, 20mm or 22mm – simply not sufficient for 3-4 ton rated vans and motorhomes.
- Proper automotive grade air springs (airbags) not factory grade or counterfeit as seen on many kits. Bags have at least 6 inches of lift potential.
- Properly designed brackets mounted at points able to take the load – in the same place as the original strut with no metal cut away.

These kits do not have adjustable bodies on them and do not have adjustable dampers. They are built on original spec cores for the best quality ride. The priority on these conversion units is ease of fitment and ride quality. They still drop well but are biased towards ride quality not drop.
These units can be made for most vans which usually have 25mm pistons and 57-58mm pressure tube bodies. Universal Struts available on the rest of the site are for cars and ARE NOT SUITABLE for vans as they will break (as many competitors have found out when modifying car struts for vans). These can be made for most non-car derived mid size vans such as ford Transit, ford Transit Custom, Vivaro, Traffic, Master, Movano, Primastar, Ducato, Boxer, Manager, Relay, Transporter, Vito, V Class,,,,
