This high tech double skinned air spring. The advantage of this bag is that the engineering is internal to the bag and it can simply be placed on most struts to convert them to air struts. You will need a plate fitting kit and armoured hose (most applications) to make use of this to build your own airstriut. This works very well on cars up to 1200-1300 Kg, and is acceptable up to around 1500 Kg total weight. Beyond this the ride becomes harsh as the limited air volume is insufficient. This bag is a stroke of genius that makes DIY strut conversion possible. Works on Mcpherson struts Chapman struts and many larger coil-overs.
Maximum pressure tube size 54mm – i.e. will not fit vans and commercial vehicles which use a 58mm pressure tube (VW T5, T6, Vito, Transit, Ducato, Master,,,)
