Due to development of one of our premises we are selling a couple of ex-project cars. Both very cheap bargains as we just need the space. Neither have air but both are custom vehicles that would take air really well.
This car would very easily break into £2500 plus in parts so they really are absolute bargains because we need the space for refurbishment, so this is a really rare opportunity to get a cheap project/show car, or to make a tidy profit. We just don’t have the time and space.
We started the airride.co.uk website in April 2004 and have operated it almost without alteration ever since. We had one colour update around 2012 but other than that the content has remained the same. We thought that it was now time to change and with the addition of a dedicated promotional team for the Dunlop website we have highly skilled video, photography and graphic design staff.
When we started products were very limited and navigation manageable – now we have around 1000 products its rather less so. Please bear with us as we migrate to the new format – both sites will remain in use for up to 6 months as the work is complete. We carry a large range of some of the very best compressors available. Although a touch noisier than some offerings these compressors are incredibly reliable and run to 200 psi to match the tanks we use with our kits. New pictures of the heavy duty T32 Transporter kits which fit from 2003-2015 VW Transporters.
Same high quality, heavy duty, great handling dampers as always but fit the T32. 25mm pistons, quadruple seals and 7 inch bags as required for this heavy beast. These are not modified car dampers as some air suspension suppliers provide.

The Classic mini air suspension kit is now also available for Pick-up, Van and estate. The front end is the same as the saloon but the rear turreting metal is different. As with all full kits these are made to order and delivery is usually a few weeks. Prices are the same as the standard kit and options similarly vary from very basic bag/bracket kits with no on board air supply or management right up to full digital kits, and everything in between. If your needs are not listed then please email and we can put together an individual price to meet your requirements.
The front end conversion is a direct bolt on with only a couple of extra holes in the subframe required. The rear end of all conversions requires some welding as the mounting area is not large enough and more significantly is not strong enough.
Air suspension offers control over ride height, spring rate and can tailor the ride quality to a clients individual needs. Ideal for those with back or neck injuries who love their Minis or for those wanting low riders. Additional drop available on request.

We have been manufacturing Air Suspension for the VW Transporter T5 since 2007 when there were no other kits available. It was redeveloped in 2012 for a smoother ride and in 2014 for easier fitment. We have added the T4 and VW Caddy Mk1 to the Range of products available for VW’s.
We have just added photos and details of the VW Crafter and Mercedes Sprinter weld-on front end load support conversions. These are more difficult to fit than the rear end conversions. Please view the page and email if you need additional information. Click here for the page.
The Mk1 VW Caddy air suspension kit is completely bolt on. We have some new illustration pictures on the caddy page. The kit will drop lower than the pictured car with slimmer wheels/tyres. Click HERE for more details.
The front end of the classic mini kit is pictured for illustration. Due to the nature of the inboard rubber cone front suspension a conventional “replace the spring” approach simply wont work. We have our own upper bracket which bolts to the subframe and lower “wishbone” which replaces the tie bar.

Our kits come with whatever controller clients want as we make the kits up as the orders come in. So if you want something specific please ask. In general:-
The most basic kits comes with Schrader (tyre) valves and are inflated anywhere you can inflate a tyre.
The manual kits have on board air and are inflated by pressing a manual button.
The electrical kits use solenoids and small electrical buttons.
The computer kits are controlled by a computer which you instruct either by pressing a pre-set option button or just up and down.
Remote kits use either electrical or computer control and add control from a smartphone, or joystick controller in addition to whatever existing control is fitted.
Combination control uses more than one controller. This is common on show cars with fast kits for show but since these are not practical for road use also a slower manual control for driving.

We are pleased to announce we have limited shelf stock of our new custom made 7 inch single convoluted bag. this is a heavy duty bag with great ride, great lift and ideal for off-axis operations where people often (incorrectly) use a double convoluted bag which just concertinas and blows out the side. We have a good range of bags in stock at all times and often advise on upgrading to more modern and more capable bags. Most bags have heavy duty aluminium caps and pick-up on Firestone fixing centres due to the multi-hole design.
We will be adding significantly to our range of digital controllers throughout this coming year. Entry level digital controllers for full independent 4 corner control and pre-sets start at just £250. these remarkable controllers are easy to fit to any new install and to integrate into an existing solenoid controlled installation. They can also be used with a little effort as bypass controllers where the OEM air suspension control is no longer working.
It is now too late to place orders for full made-to-order kits for delivery by Christmas.
Orders can still be placed for delivery in the new year and we will be operating a skeleton service over the holiday period for technical advice and for orders placed for in stock items.
