These are custom-made kits for the front of the Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper and Relay and the Peugeot Boxer in with both leaf spring and AL-KO chassis rear end variants. A perfect compliment to our load support or full rear air suspension kits. These are without doubt the best front struts for this vehicle on the market, and the price is for a pair of bare struts, with 4 inches of front travel. Perfect on A class motorhomes and other very heavy vehicles. Far better ride, and handling and complete control of ride height. Ideally fitted in combination with either semi-air or full air on the rear and a computer controller.
These front struts are a direct, bolt-on replacement for the original struts. Some minor relief of the inner arch is necessary to ensure good clearance. They each have a large air bag and are very simple to install (most difficult part is getting to the top bolts under the dash!!) The strut is available on its own, or as part of a kit. Recommended for use with air management system, meaning you can control your air suspension at the push of a button (see the ‘Options’ tab below).
This kit can be installed alone but would work best with an AirRide Custom full rear end kit or with the Boss rear end load support kit or AL-KO Chassis air suspension conversion kit to give your Ducato or Ducato based motorhome full air suspension. Various managements are available. If you are unsure of the options please let us know and we will be happy to help.
This is a reversible sleeve bagged air suspension kit. The use of a tapered sleeve bag which has a fixed spring rate means that it has a more consistent ride quality. Additionally the large volume bags means that it rides very well indeed and has both great handling and great ride quality. This kit:
Is a practical bolt-on installation which is rated as DIY or local garage fit
Improves stability and handling and reduces roll
Recovers lost suspension motion to improve ride quality
Can help pass an MOT if your vehicle is low (as a lot of motorhomes are)
Can help re-rating for heavier capacity on some vehicles
It includes:
Billet aluminium machined lower mounts for the front, which includes the original equipment manufacturer’s thrust bearing
Proper automotive grade air springs (air bags). Bags have at least 4 inches of lift potential
A two-year warranty (terms apply)

Delivery
Delivery on Air Assistance kits is currently £19 for Mainland UK excluding Highlands. Please get in touch to find out an exact date for dispatch. We sell items outside the UK but website postage prices are for UK. Additional charges will be levied for non-UK and they will be invoiced separately. Alternatively international customers can email their requirements to enquiries@airride.uk and we can raise an invoice including international postage. Please do call if you need more information or to know the stock situation which changes from hour to hour. Please do not assume that because you phoned last week and found it was in stock that it is still in stock.
Warranty
AirRide Sales Limited offer a warranty on AirRide products for a period of 2 years from time of purchase. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and subject to registration at the time of fitting. If you fail to register then a 1 year warranty is offered.
If the kit does not appear to fit – STOP and call us, as a vehicle misidentification may have occurred. Kits will be accepted for return and exchange only if they are undamaged. The buyer must cover the return postage.
Options
AirRide kits can be supplied with or without air control (otherwise known as air management or On-Board Air (OBA)).
Air control allows you to get the very best from your kit at all times. It allows the ride height to be adjusted for road, weather and load conditions, and for those who experience grounding issues it allows the absolute maximum lift to be achieved when needed (i.e. for ferries, petrol stations and rough site entrances). If in doubt, please contact us via email or phone.
No compressor, no tank
You can have an AirRide kit with no air control system but this is not recommended. With this option you will receive the air bags, brackets and struts required for a basic air suspension system, but no compressor or tank, as without some form of control system the compressor and tank would not be able to function correctly.
Manual Paddle Control (MPC)
MPC comes with an aluminium, 100% duty cycle compressor with up to 200 PSI and an air tank. It is controlled with four buttons, one for each air bag. The buttons act like electric window switches, meaning you can either raise or lower the amount of pressure in each air bag by pressing up and down on each switch.
Digital computer system
The computer system comes with an aluminium 100% duty cycle compressor with up to 200 PSI and an air tank. It electronically controls the amount of pressure in each air bag. This can be controlled either with a wired controller or a phone app. With the computer, you can adjust your car to certain pre-set heights and alter the vehicle’s height while on the move. This is also the easiest system to install; it is the most highly-recommended option.
