This is the page for all our air suspension kits for the Honda Civic VI (1995-2000).

Description

Check out the following information to decide which kit would be best for you. If you are still unsure about what kit to get, please feel free to call us on 0800 7720315 or e-mail us on enquiries@airride.uk.

AirRide Gold

AirRide Gold is a bolt-on air suspension system that allows you to drop your Honda as low as possible – lower than a Performance or TA Technix kit.

It also provides you with the right amount of lift to ensure your car remains practical and undamaged – it’s the ideal way to make your car both stylish and effective.

This means your Honda’s handling and ride quality will be remain decent, while you are also able to adjust the ride height at will and while driving, so you can avoid any obstacles on the road as they come. Most systems will offer a ride range of around five inches but this will vary slightly depending on the kit.

The kits are also incredibly simple to fit, so any local garage should be able to install the system for you, or you may even be able to fit it yourself! It is 100% bolt-on, so no fabrication is needed to attach it to your Honda.

Gold kits for the Civic VI start at £1,800.

Air Lift Performance

Air Lift was founded in Michigan, USA, in 1949, and ever since then has been at the cutting edge of air suspension design.

Throughout 70 years of designing and manufacturing air bags they have routinely given car owners fresh reasons to get air ride – from Air Lift-fitted stock racing cars in the ‘50s and ‘60s, to the ‘90s when Air Lift Performance was founded to slam custom cars, to now, when Performance air suspension offers a smooth, street-skimming ride for anyone looking to add more style to their pride and joy.

As with Gold kits, Performance kits are bolt-on, making them exremely simple to install. Performance kits also offer almost five inches of drop and a good ride, thanks to their top-of-the-range air bags, plates, struts and air hoses.

Air Lift Performance kits for the Civic VI start at 1,080.

TA Technix

TA Technix are a car-tuning specialist with more than 10 years experience in air suspension. They are based in Wustermark, a small town near Berlin.

The German company manufacture a whole host of bolt-on kits made specifically for cars. A TA Technix kit is perfect for anyone looking for great air suspension on a budget, but despite being our cheapest range of kits they are still super reliable – after all, you can’t beat German engineering!

Much like the Gold and Performance kits, Technix kits are bolt-on and offer roughly five inches of drop.

TA Technix kits for the Civic start at £1,299.

Here’s exactly what you get in your kit:

  • Two front Honda performance air struts
  • Two rear Honda performance bags and brackets
  • Necessary bolts and fittings to install the system

You can also add an air management system if you wish. To get the most from an AirRide Gold kit, a management system is recommended. Take a look at the ‘Options’ tab to find out more about the different management options on offer.

If your system needs are not met or if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to email or call us on 0800 772 0315.

Options

Car kits can be supplied with or without air management, although going without isn’t advisable if you have air on all four corners of your vehicle.

Air management allows you to get the very best from your kit at all times. It allows the ride height to be adjusted for road, weather and load conditions, while also giving you a street-skimming stance when the time is right.

We have four main management options for cars at AirRide. Read on to find out more:

No compressor, no tank

You can have a car kit with no air management system, but this is not recommended. With this option you will receive the air bags, brackets and struts required for a basic air suspension system, but no compressor or tank, as without some form of control system the compressor and tank would not be able to function correctly.

Manual Paddle Control (MPC)

MPC is controlled by four buttons, one for each air bag. These buttons act like electric-window switches, meaning you can either raise or lower the amount of pressure in each air bag by pressing up and down on each switch. The switches will normally fit somewhere on your dashboard.

MPC comes with an aluminium, 100% duty cycle compressor with up to 200 PSI and an air tank, so you can adjust your ride height whenever you wish (as long as it’s safe). It also comes with twin gauges and a tank gauge.

Solenoid control kit

Solenoid kits are controlled in the same way as an MPC kit, with four electric window-style buttons. However, solenoids act much faster than manual controls.

You can get either standard or advanced solenoids from AirRide. Advanced solenoids run much faster than the standard ones and can be installed a lot easier, as the come in blocks of two, rather than one.

Our solenoid kit comes with a 100% duty cycle compressor and tank for instant adjustment, as well as twin gauges and a tank gauge.

Digital computer system

The Air Lift 3P computer system electronically controls the amount of pressure in each air bag. This can be controlled either with a wired controller or a phone app. You can also set up to five pre-set heights, meaning you can slam or raise your car with just a single touch. The computer will also automatically alter your height to allow for road conditions. This is also the easiest system to install, meaning you’ll save money on installation, as compared to the MPC kit or solenoid kits.

The computer system also comes with an aluminium 100% duty cycle compressor with up to 200 PSI and an air tank, allowing for constant adjustment.

Other options

If you would prefer an air management system other to those listed, please feel free to call or e-mail us. We are happy to discuss your personal requirements and make sure you get the management system that is right for you.

Fitment

Although these kits are specifically for the Honda Civic VI, we supply  kits for many other vehicles. To find a kit for your car, use the car finder or the search bar above.

If we don’t provide a kit for your specific car, we can still provide air suspension for most vehicles. Please feel free to call us on 0800 772 0315 or email us to discuss options for your Civic or other vehicle.

One of the main features of our car kits is that they are bolt-on kits. This means that your local garage should be able to fit the kit without much difficulty. Alternatively, give us a call (0800 772 0315) and we can arrange the installation on your behalf. We are also happy to talk you or your garage through the installation process.
