The Fiat Ducato is a light commercial vehicle developed by the Sevel joint venture between Fiat and PSA Peugeot Citroën, produced since 1981, but it is common to refer to all models as Ducato’s for simplicity. This vehicle is used as the basis for car transporters, motorhomes and of course vans and minibuses. They are further sub-divided into X230, X244, X250 and X290/X295 for first, second and third generation. 2014 saw a facelift but mechanically the vehicles suspensions remain the same. It was also sold as the Citroën C25, Peugeot J5, Alfa Romeo AR6 and Talbot Express for the first generation, while the second and third generations were marketed as Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer and as the Ram ProMaster for the third generation for the United States and Canada market since 2013. AirRide offers kits for all variants in the form of load support kits, and numerous vehicles we can also supply full air suspension. We also manufacture front air struts for all models.

Overview
We pride ourselves on supplying the very best kits available with components chosen for reliability and safety based upon 20 years designing, installing and supplying air suspension systems. No other company has our combination of experience, variety of air suspension markets dealt with, or product range. We never compromise on safety to get the headline costs down, and even our basic kits far exceed minimal functional requirements.
AirRide custom provides the best ride and versatility within the install process. AirRide gold is performance oriented and direct bolt on, as are AirLift kits.
Specifications
ALL our car kits include:
- Full technical phone and email back-up from us during installation if needed.
- All kits tailored to your needs. We are not blind resellers or dropship suppliers.
- All kits use high spec nylon line - as standard.
- Virtually all car kits have high pressure, high specification aluminium tanks - as standard.
- Virtually all kits have high spec 100% duty cycle high pressure compressors - as standard.
Safety
Specifications vary but safety never does:
- All car kits are fully circuit independant - 4 circuit, FBSS. We do not offer 2 circuit systems for cars as they are neither safe nor legal for road use.
- All kits use the highest quality leak free unions, not the cheapest on the market.
- All kits include safety pressure relief valve.
- All tank based kits include tank gauge.
- We can supply kits for ANY car so if your needs are not met please do make contact.
Basic Kits
AirRide realises that all customers requirements are different as we customise cars and therefore tries to ensure that all kits meet the needs of the individual customers. Kits are therefore assembled individually for each customer. These can be as basic as a single axle bag/bracket or strut kit, a full vehicle mechanical kit for a basic Schrader valve or Manual Paddle controlled (MPC) kit.
Mid Level Kits
Mid level kits tend to involve solenoid control which although they can be a little more involved to install than MPC or computer kits are more versatile and space efficient to install. Smaller control switches can be used, and wiring not plumbing needs to travel to the dash. They key advantage is a range of speeds of operation plus the ability to integrate with electronic and remote controllers.
High End
The higher end of the specification starts with budget computers such as the Airlift V2, and 3P and goes to the Accuair solenoid and computer systems as the highest end of the spectrum. Exotic high spec systems also include twin tanks and twin compressors. For show use ultra high pressure solutions are also available.
AirRide Custom (MPC)
Basic entry level management kit. Easy to install, lowest amount of kit to fit, reliable and can be updated for more sophistication later. MPC kits include:

The Mk1, X230, X244 and X250 kits are rear end assistance kits for the Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper and Peugeot Boxer vans. They will fit all motor-homes derived from these vans provided they have the original rear suspension on them and have not been converted to ALKO suspension. If you have ALKO then please call. These kits are fitted in place of the existing bump-stops in addition to the rear suspension in order to improve handling, ride quality, towing, and stability on vans converted into motor-homes, and vans that have been converted or which just need improvement.
This kit has a maximum lift potential of around 4 inches on most applications which helps enormously with steep driveways, ferry access and even petrol stations. These kits function by recovering the lost suspension motion improve both the ride quality and handling of most vehicles and reduce wallowing, susceptibility to crosswinds and large oncoming traffic as well as control at junctions, roundabouts and emergency maneuvers to avoid obstacles. Can also help with towing or with rear mounted cycle, motorcycle racks and towing assemblies. Most motor-homes should be fitted with air suspension from new as many are riding on the bump-stops.
The kit comes fully powder coated, with instructions and is fully reversible if required (if you upgrade your vehicle). The kit fixes to the vehicle using 3 bolts on each side and takes only a few hours to install.
Kits start from £525 for the rear end bag and bracket kit, and can be fitted with or without onboard air supply. All installs are conducted to meet clients specific requirements, and this kit can be installed for you for £280. EXTRA HEAVY duty kits available to special order (extra £200)
Rear end Load support Kits
These kits are ideal for motorhomes and vans requiring a little extra support or ground clearance. Very commonly fitted to motorhomes.
