We are pleased to announce a dedicated fit bolt-on air suspension conversion for the Nissan 350Z. This superb kit requires 4 holes to be drilled on each side at the rear, and 4 on each side at the front. Other than that all fitting work is with normal spanners and sockets, and no fabrication is required (unlike US import kits). Using Quality Quantum sport bags the handling remains great, Ride is very good (especially on low profile rims), and the car can be lifted to clear speed ramps or steep drives.

The Silver car above features are high-rider version which is actually 2 inches higher than the standard kit we supply and which is known as the lo-rider version. This particular customer had a very large bodykit which extended well below the standard bodywork, and a steep drive.

This dedicated 350z Controller panel fits over the central storage locker, and is positioned to be clearly visible by the driver, but not a distraction. Yellow illuminated switch is for switching off overnight. Single gauge to left shows tank pressure. Each of the 4 switches correspond to one wheel. Of the two gauges one is for the front bags and one for the rear. Twin needles in each gauge indicate pressure (and therefore height) in left and right bags.

Vehicle above lifts really high – far higher than normal, but as always we aim to meet the specific needs of each customer. Due to the height it is not possible to set the geometry within ideal specs, and as such handling near the limit and tyre wear will be increased.

Rear end down and up.

Above you can see the rear bag with air port, and fixings which need drilling holes drilled on the car. A further hole in the aluminium wishbone is also required at the bottom. Below the bag is pictured fitted to the rear.

Pictures below show the components in the kit, and the original damper, (spring removed) and original top mount (also reused). The second picture shows these components assembled, and the third fitted. For clearance the three top mounting holes need to be moved over 15mm, and a further hole is required for the airline, and which can also be seen below.

Pictures below show the standard kit, which is recommended for most customers – it is lower, handles very slightly better, and looks great. Yes the bumper is on the floor on the grey car, before the front end is fully dropped – hence the lift.

The above chart shows the relationship between height (measured from ground to 12 o’clock position on arch) and pressure, for the hi-rider version. Below you can see a similar chart for the lo-rider version, and you can see how much lower than standard this kit goes, by comparing the position of the original suspension.

Front Kit (above), and Rear Kit (below). Kits also include: tank, controller, compressor, fittings and hose (everything you need to convert your car).
