This totally standard 280SE took on a whole other look when dropped.

The first is an old 1978 Mercedes SE – this car looked pretty plain when standard but a whole lot cooler when dropped – with no other mods?

Standard Mercedes 280 CE

This first photo shows the car at it’s fully up height – even this is about an inch lower than the standard ride height, and given that the springs had probably dropped a little to that height must make the car around 2 inches lower than standard, at its highest setting.

Half way down and she's looking cooler already

This photo shows the height when mostly down, the car can still be driven at this height.

Looking really good on the lowest setting.

Here we see it as low as it goes. This was a standard basic install of out FAST kit and takes around 2-3 seconds to lift the car (as you can see on the video section).

Looking good on air suspension

The rear wheels are sitting on the inner arch and could not go lower without tubbing. The fronts could go lower by changing the brackets, but cannot steer at the lowest setting so for a car that it used this is the practical limit.

This is a 3 gallon tank and 100% duty cycle air suspension compressor

Here you can see the air installed on a custom made panel (the customer has yet to fit his own ICE), which contains the 5 gallon tank, 100% duty cycle compressor, and solenoids (rear). This was installed as a basic Front and Back system (FB).

Air valve solenoids

This photo shows the front solenoids which were installed in the gigantic engine compartment to make the front opperate a little faster.

This kit uses the basic 3/8 solenoids and tubing, which flows about half the air that the slightly larger 1/2 inch ones do. If you want speed the 1/2 kit is worth the extra.

Low Merc looks the business

How come this looks like just any old classic car when at its standard ride height, but something oh so much cooler when dropped to the deck – the entire car looks smaller when its on the ground.

This is our medium Kit.

Exactly the same brackets and bags but with solenoids and larger lines for a quicker lift time. This kit includes everything you need to convert your standard coil spring Mercedes to air suspension. Upgrade to second compressor.

To fill your tank quicker if you are using the system a lot – play and generally having fun and enjoying your air suspension. Can also add redundancy in the event of a compressor failure and extend the life by halving the workload.

Upgrade to joystick remote

If you enjoy playing with your air then this 18 function dual joystick remote is exactly the device you want.
