We have often been asked about the ALKO Chassis which forms the basis of so many Motor Homes, and is in such desperate need of air assistance from new in most cases. In the past the questions of identification, and the unusual torsion bar set-up have made things difficult, but we have a lot of experience on Citroen, Peugeot and Renault car conversions which also have torsion bars on the rear end.

We are now able to offer conversions for many of the ALKO Chassis, which can be fitted if required. Fitting time is around 3 times that of the conventional kits, but the difference made to the ride, handling, and general comfort on the vehicle makes it all worth while.

We are starting to get a number of enquiries for Motorhome suspension - whilst there really is no reason that we cannot supply, and or fit these kits it is not our core business.

We mainly do air for modified cars, and for a limited range of vans. We can supply air suspension for van derived Motor Homes including Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Hyandai, Iveco, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel Peugeot, Toyota, and Volkwagen.

Van (and van derived Motor Home) air suspension kits tend to vary between £500 and £600 for the basic bag and bracket kit, for the rear. Vans and MotorHomes rarely need the front doing, and don’t always use on-board air supply that most of our other vehicles use, although both are available as extra cost options (from £600). Fitting costs vary depending upon vehicle and spec. required. Please ask for a quote.
